A very popular site in Rishikesh, Ram Jhula is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges. The bridge connects Sivnanada Ashram to Geet Bhawan and other temples located in Swarg ashram. The bridge holds a religious importance for the people of Rishikesh and for those who come on pilgrimage voyage to Rishikesh. It is a lively bridge wherein crowd keeps crossing it every now and then to go from west to east and vice versa.

A little smaller than Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula is a pedestrian footbridge that is also used by motorbikes. Located on the suburbs of the city, the bridge is one of the iconic landmarks of Rishikesh.

Once you visit Rishikesh, there is no way you can ignore this place. Geeta Bhawan is a large complex located at the river from on the banks of holy river Ganga and offers a comfortable stay for devotees who come here on pilgrimage. The evenin scene here at Triveni Ghat is exquisite and extremely thrilling as you feel awakened and energetic by mere attending this prayer.

Beatles Ashram or Maharishi Yogi Ashram got all its fame and relevance when the band members of legendary rock band Beatles stayed here for a while in 1968. However, after that the ashram was abandoned in 1997 but revived by the Forest Department and converted into an eco-friendly tourism destination. Nature walks, bird watching, and a visit to the ashram are on offer for an entry fee of Rs 150 for Indian nationals and Rs 600 for foreigners

A famous pilgrimage site near Rishikesh at a distance of 32 km from the city, Neelkath Mahadev is beautiful temple. The temple is located on a scenic hill at an altitude of 1330 meters and is visited by numerous devotees every day.

A holy pond located near Ragunath temple in Rishikesh is surrounded by tall coniferous forest. The pond reflects the image of the temple all the time and legend has it that the pond was built by saint Kubz and was blessed by goddess Yamuna by filling the holy water in the pond. Therefore, the pond has religious importance and is considered sacred.

Legend has it that it is the cave where saint Vashisht of hindu mythology meditated here for years and is considered sacred by the believers. The cave is now used for practicing meditation by many.

Ragunath temple is a famous pilgrimage site in Rishikesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ram and goddess Sita and is important for religious ceremonies that take place here during the dusk. The Arti is quite impressive and vied for in order to attend it.

Trimbakeshwar Temple, also known as Tryambakeshwar is one of the legendary ancient dedicated to Lord Shiva. The ancient temple is located in the Trimbakeshwar tehsil in the Nashik District of Maharashtra, India.

It was built in ancient times by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao (Nanasaheb). You can reach Trimbakeshwar Temple from nasik road which is 40 km and 28 km from the city of Nashik.

The popularity of the temple can be judged by the fact that it is counted among the pious twelve Jyotirlingas. Besides, this the much revered Godavari River finds its origin near Trimbak.
