Trimbakeshwar Temple, also known as Tryambakeshwar is one of the legendary ancient dedicated to Lord Shiva. The ancient temple is located in the Trimbakeshwar tehsil in the Nashik District of Maharashtra, India.

It was built in ancient times by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao (Nanasaheb). You can reach Trimbakeshwar Temple from nasik road which is 40 km and 28 km from the city of Nashik.

The popularity of the temple can be judged by the fact that it is counted among the pious twelve Jyotirlingas. Besides, this the much revered Godavari River finds its origin near Trimbak.

Weather in Rishikesh

The climate of Rishikesh is humid sub tropical due to the presence of River Ganga. The temperature in summers varies from 20 degree Celsius to 35 degree Celsius. You can avoid visiting there in monsoons due to heavy blast or rain that the town faces. Winters are pleasant and real cool in December and January.

Best Time to Visit

You can visit the town almost all year round except the chilly months of December and January. Best months to visit when temperature is pleasant are April to October. However, avoid visiting during heavy monsoon months of July and August.

Road

Rishikesh is well connected with roads from almost all major cities. You can either take a private bus or hire a taxi to Rishikesh, the holy city of Uttarakhand.

By Rail:
