Cellular Jail depicts the dreaded cruelty of the British rule in India where the freedom fighters of our country suffered a lot. It was the example of the colonial rule of the Britishers in India. The jail consist of the different cells for the prisoners. Each cell of the prison is 13.5 feet high and 7 feet wide. The Jail is also famous with the name of Kala Pani. This jail is now declared as National memorial and is opened for the people to visit.
