Rich unspoilt forest with limited public facilities. Tiger sightings are not common in winter months and sometimes you only see deers. Tiger sightings are better during summer. The forest per se is very beautiful, more beautiful than the other zones in Corbett.

Sitabani Wildlife Reserve

Location: Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand, India

A beautiful forest with lush roads running through it. The reserve is not a part of Corbett Tiger Reserve but lies outside the demarcated area of Corbett Park wildlife sighting. In deep forest, you could spot deer, python, kingfisher, Grey hornbill, langurs, monkeys, jackals. If you love nature go for it early in the morning and reach around 5.45 am.

Jim Corbett has temperate climate throughout the year. The summers are a bit hot with temperature rising to even 35 degree Celsius. However, the mercury always remains a few degrees lower inside the National Park due to dense trees.

By Rail:

The nearest railway station from Jim Corbett is Ramnagar which is 12 km away from Corbett National Park. From there you can hire a cab and reach your destination easily.

Air

Closest Airport is at Dehradun named as Jolly Grand Airport. From the Airport you can reach Corbett National Park by taxi to enjoy your jungle safari.
