With the second highest population of tigers in the country and second highest peak Nanda Devi, Uttrakhand is extremely important for travelers and the country itself. The presence of Britishers is also quite prevalent in the town with imperial era architecture in Nainital and the legend of Jim Corbett is quite famed with the oldest and largest Tiger Reserve in the vicinity. With the coming of Beatles’ in the town in Rishikesh in 1960’s to take part in an advanced Transcendental Meditation training course at the ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi turned all heads towards the town making it all the more popular. The town is magnet for seekers and yoga practitioners worldwide. It is one of the reasons that travelers from around the world visit the place to seek spiritual pleasures and spend days in search of peace and harmony. Day 01: Arrive Haridwar – Rudraprayag
Upon your arrival in Haridwar, you will be escorted by our cordial representative to the Rudraprayag, first destination of your tour. Day one begins by visiting a small pilgrimage of Rudrprayag where the rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini confluences. On the way to the town, visit Devprayag, which is a convergence of River Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. As you arrive in the town, check into the hotel, explore the town later in the evening and return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Rudraprayag - Joshimath - Badrinath
Our next two destinations that need to be covered on day 2 are Joshimath and Badrinath. In order to reach Badrinath, you will have to cross Joshimath, a small neighboring town of famous hill station Auli. Arrive Badrinath comfortably and check into the hotel upon your arrival, rest for a while and freshen up to visit the holy temple at Badrinath for evening sacred worshipping ceremony. Also visit tapt kund, hot spring in Badrinath for holy dip or bath. Seek blessings of power Hindu God Vishnu and return back to the hotel for spending the evening in leisure.
Day 03: Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag
After attending the Morning Prayer at the Badrinath temple, get ready to explore the town of Badrinath. Visit the small picturesque villages of Mana, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Mata Murti Temple around Badrinath town. Later in the afternoon, head back to Rudraprayag via Karnaprayag, one of the five prayags of River Alaknanda. Upon arrival at Rudraprayag, check into hotel and rest overnight. Indulge in leisure activities in the evening and enjoy your overnight stay here.
Day 04: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh – Haridwar
On day 4 of your exclusive Uttarakhand trip, you will be visiting the Beatles famed town of Rishikesh. Knows as the spiritual and yoga capital of the world, the town is immensely beautiful and full of scenic splendor. Upon arrival check into the hotel and waste no time to explore the city of temples, ashrams, infinite mythological stories, River Ganga and what not. Have the experience of treading on the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the late evening, drive back to Haridwar, check into the hotel and stay overnight.
