Built in the year 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, Junagarh Fort is huge fort with massive formidable walls surrounding the fort. The blend of Mughal, Gujrati and Rajput architecture, Junagharh Fort is one example of brilliant designs and intricate carvings. Some of the attractions inside the fort are Anup Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Dungar Mahal, Diwan-e-khas and Ganga Mahal.

‘Lal’ meaning red, the Palace is named after the father of Maharaja Ganga Singh who built the Palace in the year 1902 in memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh. The name of the Palace is Lalgarh due to the use of red sandstone. It is a stupendous example of the architectural brilliance of medieval period.The colossal lawns houses peacocks, which are a sight to watch when they dance.

The one and only research centre is devoted to research on the four breeds of Camel. 400 Camels of around four breeds are kept here in this centre for research purposes. This also serves as a well known breeding ground for camels.

This group of beautiful temples within the Jaisalmer Fort has carved structures that depict pictures of sages, hermits, animals, etc. Built in the Dilwara style that is famous all over the world for its architecture, these temples are dedicated to Rikhabdevji and Shambhavdev Ji.

45 kms from Bikaner, Deshnoke is famous for Karni Mata Temple where rats are worshipped. Centuries old temple is inundated with rats where the rats are worshipped due to an ancient legend. This rare temple attracts a lot of foreign tourist to witness the rats being worshipped.
