So you are among those explorers who love to go places. Going to Jim Corbett is one such experience that cannot be denied for being one of the best. Rich flora and fauna of the famous National Park is quite prevalent as you enter the vicinity of the Park. The lush roads take you into the wilderness which lets you forget where you came from. Tall sal, even taller bamboos, eucalyptus, shrubs and grasses all comprise the National Park. Rich fauna includes endangered Bengal Tiger, sambhar, deer, leopards and wild elephants particularly in Dikhala zone of the National Park. The safari to this dense jungle is alluring to the core and you cannot avoid the thrill in the safari. The neighboring town to the Jim Corbett is splendid Nainital and its neighboring Bhimtal and Sattal.
Nainital is a small town full scenic splendor and exotic Lakes. The famous Naini Lake look eternal as you view it from the Mall Road. The town is situated in the laps of second highest peak of India, the famous Nanda Devi hills and is surrounded by grandiose mountain ranges. As you paddle the boat on the beautiful Lake, the mesmerizing view of the mountains creates a backdrop which is no less than a fairytale. Well, if you are not amongst those admirers of beauty, the town also offers a lot many adventure activities as well. You can go to tiffin top and enjoy paragliding from there or can also trek to the snow point to get the first hand experience of the splendid town.
Day 01: Delhi – Nainital
Nainital is eight to nine hours drive away from Delhi, so gear up for long drive on day one. Our cordial representative will drive you to Nainiatal in a comfortable cab making sure your journey isn’t much hectic. Upon arrival at Nainital, check into the hotel and rest for while. Evenings can be spent taking rounds near the hotel or on the Mall Road. Savor the dinner out there and enjoy the cool winds blowing from the Lake.
Day 02: Nainital - Bhimtal - Sattal- Nainital
In the morning, visit Cheena Peak that offers spectacular view of the mountain ranges and calm down your wandering souls for a while. Drive towards Bhimtal and Sattal and enjoy your day exploring the two places near Nainital. Similar to Nainital, Bhimtal is a scenic Lake destination which offers beautiful environs and views. Sattal is a place where seven lakes confluence and create a magical Lake that looks magnificent. Witness the two beautiful towns near Nainital and in the evening, return to your hotel and enjoy shopping at the mall road. Have a comfortable stay at night.
Day 03: Nainital - Mukteshwar – Nainital
On day 3, drive towards Mukteshwar on a local tour of the twon. Set in the Kumaon Hills, Mukteshwar is popular tourist destination. Visit the famous Mukteshwar Temple which is an ancient temple located in a beautiful isolated place. You can also visit the Little Church which is 75 years old and is located on the side of the hill. Also, you can enjoy a cable car ride to the Snow View Point. Later, return back to Nainital and stay overnight.
Day 04: Nainital – Corbett
So the day which was much awaited by you is here as you will be driving to Jim Corbett on day 4. 60 to 70 km far from Nainital, the town is a home to oldest National Park in India. Spread across a massive area of 521 km², Jim Corbett National Park houses more than 500 species of animals, reptiles and birds. Also a huge species of flora is also prevalent in the Park including Sal trees, eucalyptus trees, bamboos, and oak trees. You can enjoy the evening safari into the Park and get the first hand experience of the Tiger Reserve and if you are lucky enough, you could even spot a Tiger. However, be safe on the safari. Return back to the hotel where you checked on your arrival and rest overnight.
Day 05: Corbett
Wake up early for a morning safari into the reserve. Opt for an elephant ride or jeep safari to the jungle. Feel the chilly fresh air in the Park which will wide awake you from your half sleep. Return back to the hotel and enjoy the day exploring rest of the town. Spend the evening in leisure of if you wish go for another safari in the evening. Spend night in the hotel and rest overnight.
Day 06: Corbett – Delhi
So the exotic tour to exotic places of Uttrakhand ends here and it’s time to say goodbye to the magical tour. On day 6 of the tour you will be cordially dropped at Delhi airport/ railway station for your onward journey. The tour ends here.
