Home to rich flora including large meadows, sal trees, tall bamboo, silver oak, eucalyptus trees etc Jim Corbett is the oldest National Park India. The Fauna of Corbett National Park includes Royal Bengal Tigers and Asiatic elephant, which are Asiatic Black Bear, Sloth Bear, Walking Deer, Hog Deer, Sambar, Yellow-throated Marten, Otters and Ghariyal etc. The jungle safari to this rich and old National Park is once in a lifetime experience. While you drive through the narrow roads shadowed by tall sal trees, you will feel the calmness, serenity and importance of nature in our life.
Nainital on the other hand is tiny tinsel town ahead of Corbett Natonal Park that houses many lakes including famous Nainital Lake from which the town got its name. The town looks extremely splendid and panoramic nestled in the foothills of Nanda Devi Mountain, Uttarakhand’s highest peak. The town looks like a backdrop of any story wherein the entire town is situated around the banks of Nainital Lake. The view of the Lake from the famous Mall Road is breathtakingly alluring and the walk on the Mall road in the evening is all the more peaceful and calming. The two neighboring towns of the state of Uttarakhand are enormously popular amongst tourists and explorers. Where Corbett National park offers transforming experience in the wilderness, Nainital offers splendid panoramic views and calming vibes that settles down the wandering souls.
Day 1: Delhi - Nainital
As you arrive in Delhi, you will be driven towards your first destination- Nainital. After an eight hour long drive, you will arrive at your destination in the evening. Upon arrival, check into the nice hospitable hotel and rest. In the late evening, you can enjoy a stroll near on the Mall Road while witnesing a breathtaking view of the Lake. Return to the hotel and rest overnight to revamp your energies.
Day 2: Nainital Local Sightseeing
Today’s the day to explore the tinsel town of Nainital. Visit famous tourist attractions like Nainital Lake, snowview point, tiffin top etc. Also visit the neighboring nearby Lakes of Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchia Tal. All three Lakes are quite panoramic and offer beautiful views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Enjoy the pleasant weather in the evening, stroll around in the market and return back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Nainital - Corbett
On day 3, get ready to explore the oldest National Park in the country. Set your traveler food down and get going. Drive to Jim Corbett National Park and enjoy the beautiful roads that take you through. The roads to the Park are shadowed by tall Sal trees thereby offering a beautiful driveway. After a 4 hour drive as you reach your destination, check into the hotel and wait till evening for the Safari in the Jim Corbett National Park. Enjoy your Safari and retune back to the hotel and enjoy your rest of the evening.
Day 4 : Corbett - Delhi
Today, you can opt for morning Safari rid inside the National Park to spot the animals like deer, elephants, owls, and if you are lucky enough, get to see Bengal Tiger. Return to the hotel for morning breakfast. Now, it’s time to pack your bags as we will head back to Delhi. You will be transported to your respective transport locations for your onward journeys.
