Massively large Thar Desert is spread runs through the state from southwest to northeast, almost from one end to the other. Many districts that lie in this region are beautiful and house some major tourist attractions. Due to large part of the state covered with desert land, the state has a little forest cover but the state still is a home to rich flora and fauna. Home to four major National Parks- Desert National Park in Jaisalmer, Ranthambor Nationanl Park in Sawai Madhopore, Sariska Tiger Reserve in Alwar and Tal Chappar Sanctuary in Sujanghar, Rajasthan attracts huge number of explorers and wildlife enthusiasts.

This Rajasthan motorcycle trip is handmade only for such enthusiasts and explorers. With its historical lanes, decade old street food joints and Mughal architect, Delhi has a lot more to offer you than just being a modern contemporary shadow of India. Mandawa is a town is famous for its exquisite Havelis built by Shekhawat Rajputs. Sewaram Saraf Haveli, Ram Pratap Nemani Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli are some of the Havelis housed by Mandawa.

A bike ride to sand dunes of Thar Desert is one thrilling experience that can best be enjoyed on Camel’s back. Apart from this, the state of Rajasthan houses major wildlife Parks like Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Sawai Madhopur, Sariska Tiger Reserve, Keoladeo National Park and Kumbhalgarh National Park. Also many bird sanctuaries are there in Rajasthan that houses more than 300 species of nested plus migratory birds. There is nothing that the state cannot offer to its visitors. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, our amiable representative will escort you to your hotel. Check into the hotel, freshen and rest for the day. Get revived for next day to explore the city.

 

Day 2: Delhi Local Sightseeing

So, it’s time to get acquainted with the city of old and contemporary blend. It isn’t called old Delhi and New Delhi for namesake, the city blends together the old and the new to offer its tourist the best travel experience. So to explore the old visit the famous and highly revered Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, and Jama masjid in old Delhi. Evenings could be spend in the streets of New Delhi while relishing upon street food of Delhi. In the evening, attend a light and sound show. Return back home and spend night in the hotel.

 

Day 3: Delhi – Mandawa

On day 3, check out from the hotel and drive towards Mnadawa, a small town in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district. The town is famous for its exquisite Havelis built by Shekhawat Rajputs. You will reach by late afternoon and upon arrival check into the hotel and get freshen up to explore the small town. Visit Sewaram Saraf Haveli, Ram Pratap Nemani Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli and others. Return back to hotel and stay overnight.

 

Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner (189 kms)

On the day 4 of your 17 days tour to Rajasthan, proceed towards Bikaner, a city famous for Junagarh Fort built in 16th century.  Arrive in Bikaner and check into the hotel and get fresh in order to continue your local sightseeing in Bikaner. Visit a huge complex of ornate buildings and halls of the famous Junagarh Fort. Later move on to Jain temples. Explore the town and surrounding markets in the evening. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

 

Day 5: Bikaner – Jaisalmer

Morning is kept free for you to explore the local markets and shop for exclusives at Bikaner. Later in the noon, you will drive towards Jaisalmer, the camel safari base.  Once you arrive in Jaisalmer, check into the hotel and stay overnight.

 

Day 5: Jaisalmer-Sam Sand Dunes Desert Camp

On day 5 of your tour, you will be driving towards Jaisalmer where you will reach after a 6 hour long drive. Later in the day, proceed to visit the glorious Jaisalmer Fort and the Royal Cenotaphs. This evening, you will be visiting the magnificent Sam Sand Dunes, bustled with spark. You could opt for a camel ride here to get a real desert experience. Later, enjoy the folk dances and music of royal Rajasthan.

After sightseeing, ride your bike for 40 km and you arrive at the world-popular sand dunes that can be seen on both the sides of the road. Halt at the Sam Sand Dunes camp site. You can also choose to live in tented accommodation here in the desert and can enjoy the night with other tourists while sitting around the bonfire and dancing all night.

Day 6: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur (320 Km / 7 Hrs)

On day 6, drive towards Jodhpur. After a long drive to Jodhpur, reach Jodhpur in the evening. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and unwind before you embark upon the local sightseeing tour.  Stroll around the local bazaars of the city, shop and enjoy. Return back to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 7: Jodhpur-Ghanerao via Bullet Temple (160 Km / 4 Hrs)

On the 7th day of the Rajasthan Motorbike Tour, embark on a city tour of Jodhpur.  Ride your bike up to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, famed as one of the largest forts in India. Next, visit Jaswant Thada, popular as the Taj Mahal of Jodhpur. This white marble memorial was founded by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, his father. Your next ride is to the stunning Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum. The museum displays a variety of personal belongings of the Maharaja Umaid Sing and other members of the royal family including weapons, crockery, trophies, stuffed leopards, antiques and a collection of clocks.

Later, drive towards the village of Ghanerao. Upon arrival, check into the hotel or the Royal Castle. Spend evening walking around the forest of Ghaneroa and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 8: Ghanerao-Udaipur

Drive towards the city of Lakes-Udaipur from Ghaneroao on day 8. Surrounded by beautiful Aravalli ranges and three pristine Lakes, Udaipur is also known to be the most romantic cities of India. Udaipur is dotted with several architectural marvels and the placid Lake Pichola. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, freshen up and move out to explore the city. The first visit is to the marvelous City Palace complex, placed on the eastern banks of the Lake. The several structures inside the complex were constructed in a span of 400 years by different rulers at the time of their reign. During dusk, enjoy boating on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. In the evening, you can indulge in shopping at the local bazaars of Udaipur. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 9: Udaipur-Bassi via Chittorgarh

On day 9, begin your drive towards bassi via Chittorgarh. Halt at Chittorgarh to visit Chittorgarh Fort along with various Palaces like Padmini palace and the Rana Kumbha palace, numerous gates- Hanuman Pol, Ganesh Pol and the Laxman Pol, and various towers like Vijay Stambh and the Kirti Stambh and shrines inside. Vijay Stambh is a nine storied structure constructed in Rajputana style with intricate carvings and designs. Thereafter continue your drive to Bassi, upon arrival check into the hotel and visit Bassi fort palace. Placed amidst lovely hills, this palace is the home of 16th century nobility of Mewar dynasty, which has now been turned into a heritage hotel. Return back home and stay overnight.

Day 10: Bassi-Pushkar (210 Km / 5 Hrs)

On day 10, begin your drive towards Pushkar. Upon arrival check into the hotel and  move out of your room all thrilled to explore the famous city of Pushkar. Visit attractions like Pushkar Lake, Aptaeshwar temple, Varaha temple and the Brahma temple. The 3 hills on one side of Pushkar and the deep lake on the other, make it distinct and beautiful. Stroll around the bustling markets to buy some best quality products available here. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 11: Pushkar-Jaipur

On the 11th day, you ride to the lovely 'Pink City' of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, visit City Palace flanked by courtyards, lush gardens and monuments, the unique Royal Jantar Mantar Observatory, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and the Local Bazaar. Return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12: Jaipur-Ranthambore

Thrilling day is ahead of you today. Start your bike road towards Ranthambore National Park situated in Sawai Madhopur. Upon arrival check into the hotel, relax and begin your adventure. Explore the twon by first visiting old Ranthambore Fort that was erected in the 10th century, Phansi Ghar, Hammir's Court, Dhula Mahal and Badal Mahal can be visited after that. Embark on a nature walk, later on, savoring the greenery and serenity. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 13: Ranthambore National Park

This morning, get ready to embark upon the early morning safari of the affluent National Park. Witness the towering trees shadowing the rough roads of the Park. Early morning cool breeze will wide awake you on the safari. Some of the animal species that can be spotted here include tiger, sloth bears, common langurs, sambhar deer, Indian wild boar, small Indian mongoose, Indian flash vampire, jackals etc. The wildlife reserve also houses as many as 272 species of avifauna. Spot colorful birds like bulbul, falcons, mynas, great crested grebe, herons, common kingfishers, egrets, gulls, snipes and more Later return back to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit the famous Ranthambore Fort and other surrounding places. If you wish you can even opt for an evening safari as well. Later return back to hotel and relax.

Day 14: Ranthambore-Agra via Bharatpur

This day, drive towards Agra via Bharatpur. Take pleasure in bird watching in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. Spread across 29 km square, the park is mosaic of dry meadows, swamps and wetlands. Over 366 species of birds and 379 floral species, the Park is rich and worth visiting. The sanctuary is one of the richest bird areas in the world and is known for nesting of resident birds and visiting migratory birds including water birds. Later in the day, begin your drive towards Agra in a car as this was your last day of bike ride. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check into the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 15: Agra-Delhi

This day is going to be an exciting day as you are going to witness the wonder of the World Taj Mahal. Wake up and get ready to explore the city by visiting the most attractive and incredible monument- Taj Mahal. Made in white marble, it is a scintillating monument and no wonder Taj Mahal is one of the world’s seven wonders. Enjoy the visit to the marvel and take a tour inside the monument and get inspired by the unparallel beauty of the monument. Later in the day, proceed to Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb whose design elephants even outshines the Taj. The market around the Taj is inundated with marble souvenirs and offers a lot of exclusive specialties to shop. Later in the, get transferred to Delhi for onward journey towards Delhi.
