Day 1: Calicut - Vythiri
Upon arrival in Calicut, our representative will meet you and take you to Vyithri where you will check into the hotel upon arrival. Spend the day at leisure; enjoy the walk to explore in nearby area. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Vythiri
In the morning after breakfast, move out to explore the resort town nestled deep in the interior of Wayanad’s forest. Soak into the dense green surroundings and its breathtaking serene surroundings. Later enjoy trip to Chempara peak located 15 km away from Vythiri. You may also drive to another 22 kms to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Soorjipara Falls. The other major tourist attractions to visit in Vythiri include Akshipathalam, the Edakkal caves, Meenmutty Falls and Banasura Sagar dam. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Vythiri – Marari (370 kms / 8hrs drive)
Post breakfast, proceed towards Marari. This is a small sleepy fishing village tucked away a line of dense palms that rises like a green fortification of the sands. On reaching Marari, check-in at one of the listed hotels. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Marari - Kumarakom (50 kms / 1 hrs drive)
Next morning after breakfast, drive straight to Kumarakom. On reaching Kumarakom, check-in at the hotel to relax in the comfortable surroundings of the hotel. Later in the move out from the hotel to enjoy a boat ride on the Kumarakom Lake and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy overnight stay will be at Kumarakom.
Day 5: Kumarakom - Thekkady (150 kms / 5 hrs drive)
On the following morning after breakfast, drive towards Periyar. On reaching Periyar, check-in at one of the listed hotels. Take pleasure in bird watching and boating at the Periyar Lake. You would be able to spot several colorful species of resident as well as migratory birds here. Return to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Thekkady - Kovalam (260 kms / 6 hrs drive)
On day 6 of your tour, drive towards Kovalam and upon arrival check in to the resort at the Beach. Relax in the day and enjoy the evening strolling around the town and enjoying your visit while admiring the sunset at the Beach. The serene beaches of Kovalam are perfect for scenic walks, sunbathing and a fun time with waves. Enjoy some Ayurvedic sessions in the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 7: Kovalam
On day 7, embark on a local sightseeing tour at Kovalam. Spend the day at leisure and visit the popular beaches of Kovalam such as Lighthouse, Samudra and Hawa beach along with the other attractions. Return to the hotel and stay overnight in the hotel. Enjoy the day at Kovalam Beach and explore the local markets around. Shop and spend the evening indulging in leisure activities. Savor a delicious dinner and spend the night at the hote.
Day 8: Kovalam – Trivandrum
On the last day of your tour, you will be leaving for Trivandrum. At Trivandrum visit, prime tourist attractions such as the City Museum, Shri Chitra Art Gallery and Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
Later in the day, get an assisted transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
