This Rajasthan Heritage and Culture Tour will be covering all the major cities and towns of the state of Rajasthan. This tour is made for a travel enthusiasts like you who wants to see it all and go all places. The state of Rajasthan is an exemplary place that showcases the great Indian cultural opulence and heritage. The state is home to numerous heritage sites that holds a great significance for the people of the state. Most of the regions in Rajasthan had been vied for in order to conquer it in the past by many Rajput rulers and kings. So, the house of brave soldiers have seen it all – the wars, the conquests, the bloodshed and what not.

To experience the classic royal heritage and culture of Rajasthan, explore the Forts, monuments, palaces, cultural cities, temples and Lakes. Also enjoy expedition to the royal Havelis at Mandawa, forts at Jaipur and Jodhpur, Jain temples at Jaisalmer and pristine Lakes in Udaipur. Hop on to Camel’s trunk for experiencing the desert Safari and firsthand experience of the Thar Desert.

Apart from this, the state of Rajasthan houses major wildlife Parks like Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Sawai Madhopur, Sariska Tiger Reserve, Keoladeo National Park and Kumbhalgarh National Park. Also many bird sanctuaries are there in Rajasthan that houses more than 300 species of nested plus migratory birds. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, our amiable representative will escort you to your hotel. Check into the hotel, freshen and rest for the day. Get revived for next day to explore the city.

Day 2: Delhi Local Sightseeing

So, it’s time to get acquainted with the city of old and contemporary blend. It isn’t called old Delhi and New Delhi for namesake, the city blends together the old and the new to offer its tourist the best travel experience. So to explore the old visit the famous and highly revered Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, and Jama masjid in old Delhi. Evenings could be spend in the streets of New Delhi while relishing upon street food of Delhi. In the evening, attend a light and sound show. Return back home and spend night in the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Mandawa

On day 3, check out from the hotel and drive towards Mnadawa, a small town in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district. The town is famous for its exquisite Havelis built by Shekhawat Rajputs. You will reach by late afternoon and upon arrival check into the hotel and get freshen up to explore the small town. Visit Sewaram Saraf Haveli, Ram Pratap Nemani Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli and others. Return back to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner (189 kms)

On the day 4 of your 17 days tour to Rajasthan, proceed towards Bikaner, a city famous for Junagarh Fort built in 16th century.  Arrive in Bikaner and check into the hotel and get fresh in order to continue your local sightseeing in Bikaner. Visit a huge complex of ornate buildings and halls of the famous Junagarh Fort. Later move on to Jain temples. Explore the town and surrounding markets in the evening. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Bikaner – Manvar

In the morning of day 5th of this tour, you will be driving to Manvar. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and move out for a full day expedition of this small village. Manvar is small village near Jodhpur which has many resorts that provide tented accommodations to enjoy staying in tents. Here you choose to hop on Camel’s back and safari in the Thar Desert. Also visit villages of Bishnoi Tribal community to observe their culture from close. Stay in the hotel or rent a tented accommodation for the night.

Day 6: Manvar – Jodhpur – Luni:

On day 6, begin your drive towards Jodhpur. Upon arrival, embark upon the local sightseeing tour of Jodhpur beginning from the famous Mehrangarh Fort, largest for in India with huge halls and complexes. Next visit Jaswant Thada Memorial and cradle room. Later in the day, start your drive towards Luni, upon arrival check into the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 7: Luni – Ranakpur-Udaipur

On day 7, you will be driving to Udaipur via Ranakpur where you can reach after a 2 hours long drive. Take a local tour to Ranakpur by first visiting impressive Jain temples that showcases the stunning marble stone carvings.  Famous for 5 most important Jain temples, Ranakpur acts as a holy site for thousands of Jain devotees. Built back in 1439, Chaumukha temple is one of the most prevalent amongst all and is dedicated to Adinath, the first tirthankar.

After a splendid tour of Ranakpur, drive back to Udaipur.Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 Day 8: Udaipur

Wake up, freshen up and get ready to go on a full day excursion of the city beautiful. First visit the famous City Palace, the largest palace complex in India. Later in the day, visit Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum or Udaipur Folk Museum. Later in the evening visit Fateh Sagar Lake and enjoy boating around in the Lake. Return back to the hotel in the night, savor the dinner and enjoy your stay overnight.

Day 9: Udaipur - Pushkar

On day 9, drive towards the holy city of Pushkar. Upon arrival in Pushkar, check in to the tented accommodation. In the afternoon, embark on a spiritual journey to Ajmer where the shrine of famous sufi sain Moinuddin Chisti is located. Return to Pushkar to spend overnight in the tent in Pushkar.

Day 10: Pushkar

On day 10th of your tour, explore the famous city of Pushkar. Visit attractions like Pushkar Lake, Aptaeshwar temple, Varaha temple and the Brahma temple. Also visit the famous Later, Pushkar Fair Ground where famous Pushkar Fair takes place in the month of November every year. Choose to ride on Camel for Thar Desert Safari and experience the best of Thar. Return back to the tent and enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 11: Pushkar – Jaipur

This morning, drive towards Jaipur, the pink city of India. Arrive and check into the hotel and go on local sightseeing tour later in the day. Visit the famous City Palace and the Royal Observatory.  Spend rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel and rest overnight.

Day 12: Jaipur - Delhi

On this day, visit Amer Fort; take an elephant ride to this hill top palace on a caparisoned and painted elephant. Post lunch, drive towards Delhi from where you will be transferred to the International airport to board flight for onward journey.
