Day 1: Leh
Upon arrival in Leh via flight till Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh, you will be assisted by our cordial representative who will transfer you to the hotel pre-booked for you. The day could be spent at leisure for self exploring the place. The vibrant markets of Leh City are inundated with goods and products produced by local people.
Day 2: Leh
On day 2, begin your journey towards west of Leh.Visit the famous ancient Alchi Monastery, which offers splendid miniature paintings. Post the Alchi Monastery, visit the Magentic hill which displays an epic confluence of the river Indus and Zanskar. On the way back to your hotel, you can make a pit stop to visit the Military Hall of Fame. Return to the hotel and spend your night comfortable there.
Day 3: Leh - Tsomoriri Lake
On day 3 of your Leh tour, you will be driving towards the enticing and pristine Tsomoriri Lake. At a massive altitude of 4200 meters, Tsomoriri Lake is an enthralling Lake set up like a back drop of a feature film looking all enticing to explore. Not only is the Lake, the drive to the Lake even more exciting and exquisite with Indus River flowing alongside the road. On the way, halt at Chumathang hot springs and the Mahe Bridge. Upon arrival at Tsomiri Lake, check into the nearby camps and enjoy the magical location and the Lake.
Day 4: Tsomoriri Lake - Tsokar Lake - Leh
Fourth day of your tour, you will visit the exotic Tsokar Lake. While on the way, halt at various locations like Puga Geo-thermal gas springs and the nomadic Rebo tents settled at the Polo-Kongka pass, where you will visit the famous Thukje Village Monastery. Today, your journey needs to end at Stok via Tang langla Pass situated at an altitude of around 5300 meters. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Leh - Nubra Valley
The famous Nubra Valley awaits you on day fifth of your tour. Most exciting and thrilling day of the tour will take you through Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world. When you arrive in the Valley, check into the hotel or stay at a tented accommodation to unwind for a while. Later, set out to explore the sand dunes of Nubra while enjoying the Camel Safari at a cold desert. Post that, visit the world renowned Diskit Monastery, which houses a 100 ft tall Maitreya Buddha statue. After all the sightseeing, return to your hotel/camp and spend the night at leisure.
Day 6: Nubra - Leh
On day 6th of your exciting tour, visit the famous Samstanling Monastery first in the morning. Later, set out to on a journey back to Leh. Halt on the way for savoring delicious lunch on the way. Upon arrival at Leh in the evening, check into the same hotel and spend rest of the evening relaxing or by indulging in leisure activities. Savor the dinner at the local market or at the hotel as per your mood, return back to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 7: Leh - Pangong Lake
So, it’s finally day 7 when you are going to witness the mesmerizing Pangong Lake. The lake is situated at a distance of 135 kms from the main city. On your journey to Pangong Lake, you will cross the famous Changla Pass which is located at an altitude of 17,500 feet. . On your way to Pangong, you would be crossing Durbuk and Tangtse village. By afternoon, you would be reaching one of the most wonderful lakes of India, the Pangong Lake. Don’t be surprised by the nature’s bliss on this Lake as it looks no less than a movie set up on an unreal location. In the evening, visit the local nomadic village to stay overnight.
Day 8: Pangong Lake - Leh
This tour has even come to an end without even feeling a desire to leave. On this day, you will drive back to Leh while enjoying the scenic drive passing via many enthralling mountain passes. Witnessing the amazing sunrise on the magical Lake is once in a lifetime experience and you cannot miss it. Drive back to Leh after that and upon arrival, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
This would possibly be the last day of our Amazing Ladakh Tour with Pangong . Start your day fresh by witnessing the scenic Pangong lake getting illuminated by the early morning rays of the sun. Post breakfast, drive back to Leh. On reaching Leh, explore the local market and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Leh – Delhi
Post breakfast, our tour representative will take you to Kushok Bakula airport to board the flight to Delhi. This marks the end of our delightful Ladakh tour.
