Description

A land of royal palaces and forts, Rajasthan is a historically rich and magnificent place in India. One of the famous places is the City Palace which was built by Arjun Pal in fourteenth century. This palace is a treasure of colonial medieval architecture. Another famous palace Bhanwar Vilas Palace built in 1938 by Maharaja Ganesh Pal DeoBahadur. The palace is turned into a heritage hotel for guests who want be a part of a special royal experience. Another famous palace-the Jal Mahal Palace of Lake palace is a beautiful sand colored palace and floats float in the centre of Man Sagar Lake in Udaipur.

Sheesh Mahal is another important Palace within the complex of Mehrangarh Fort and is known as the glass palace of Jodhpur. The art piece is adorned by mirros on the walls that is spread across ceilings and to the floors making it an astounding piece of art. The Udai Bilas Palace is another Palace with striking classic Rajput design and architecture. The palace was named after Maharawal Udai Singh II.

The Udaipur City Palace is another magnificent Palace that towers over Lake Pichola wherein the balconies, cupolas, and towers of the palace give a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding city. These are a few major palaces of that are housed by the royal state of Rajasthan. Aprt from these, there are other numerous palaces like Umaid Bhawan Palace, Dholpur Palace, Rani Padmini’s Palace, Fateh Prakash Palace, etc.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi Arrival

As you land at Delhi Airport or at Delhi Railway Station, our representative will be there already to escort you. We make sure to offer the best services by providing you our best person for your journey. You will be driven to the hotel pre-booked for you where you will check in and stay overnight.

Day 2: Delhi

On day 2 of 7 days Golden Triangle Tour, you will explore Delhi and its main areas. The Delhi sightseeing tour will begin by seeking blessings from revered Laxmi Narayan Temple. After paying homage at Temple, advance to India Gate, then to Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Jama Masjid, India’s largest Mosque, Qutub Minar, Purana Quila, Humyun’s Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Visit Red Fort, a historical monument where you can witness vibrant Sound and Light show.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

On day 3 you will proceed for Agra, the historically evident city of India. After a filling breakfast, proceed for Agra which is just 3 to 4 hour drive from Delhi through Delhi-Agra express highway. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and stay overnight. If time permits, stroll around the hotel markets and explore the city yourself.

Day 04 : Agra - Jaipur 

On day 4, drive towards Jaipur while halting at Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Visit Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. After a short tour continue driving towards the pink city on India. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, visit City Palace flanked by courtyards, lush gardens and monuments, the unique Royal Jantar Mantar Observatory, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and the Local Bazaar. Return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Jaipur 

Discover the pink city and get ready get amazed at every step. Visit strikingly massive and beautiful Amber Fort and Hawa Mahal. Enjoy the elephant ride at Amber Fort and be astonished by the perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture in the palace fortress. Hawa Mahal is a striking five-storied pyramid-shaped palace with several windows and screens. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 06: Jaipur - Samode

On day 6, drive towards Samodhe, a large town inf Rjasthna with royal palaces and Havelis. Upon arrival check into the hotel and enjoy your stay overnight. Explore the town of Samodhe by first visiting to Samodhe palace, Samodhe Haveli and Samodhe Garden. These enthralling sites are extravagant. Cherish your time here with your family and friends. Return back to the hotel and enjoy your stay.

Day 07: Samode - Mandawa 

In the morning leave for Mandawa by road. It takes a 4 hour on road to reach Mandawa. Upon arrival, check into the Castle Mandawa. The evening is booked to visit the Shekhawati region famous for its painted havelis. This will be followed by a camel ride in thedesert. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 08 : Mandawa - Khimsar 

On this day, you will be driving towards Khimsar, famous for its sand dunes. Upon arrival, check in to the the Khimsar Fort. In the afternoon, explore the stunning sand dunes of Khimsar. By evening, return to the Khimsar Fort for overnight stay.

Day 09: Khimsar - Jaisalmer

Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Jaisalmer. One of the most prominent destinations in Rajasthan, Jaisalmer is a tiny jewel in the heart of the Great Indian Desert-Thar. Upon arrival, check in at the Fort Rajwada. The evening is booked to explore the surroundings of this fortified city. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 10: Jaisalmer 

On this day, get ready to explore the Jaisalmer city. Get ready to visit the first location Patwon Ki Haveli, a five-storied mansion which is one its kind in the city; Salim Singh Ki Haveli- a beautiful mansion that was built 300 years ago, Gadi Sagar tank, an oasis and the Heritage Museum.  Return to Fort Rajwada and stay overnight.

Day 11: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

Drive towards Jodhpur from Jaisalmer on 11th day of your trip. It is a long drive towards Jodhpur and you will reach in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax for a while before you go on to explore the city. Stroll around the local bazaars of the city, shop and enjoy. Return back to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 12: Jodhpur

The famous tourist attraction of the state, Jodhpur is one city that is visited by many tourists every year. Famous for the massive Mehrangarh Fort, the city is quite vibrant and pleasant due to frequen to and fro of tourists from around the world. Visit the Clock Tower built by Maharaja Sardar Singh and then Mehrangarh Fort, the huge fort situated at an elevation of 400 feet and Jaswant Thada mausoleum, an architectural landmark. Return back to your hotel to spend the evening at leisure.

Day 13: Jodhpur - Udaipur

In the morning leave for Udaipur. It is a 6 hour journey from Jodhpur. On the way, visit the famous Ranakpur temples, famous as a Jain pilgrimage center. On reaching Udaipur, check into the Lake Palace. The evening is booked to explore the local bazaars of Udaipur. Return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 14 : Udaipur

Wake up, freshen up and get ready to go on a full day excursion of the city beautiful. First visit the famous City Palace, the largest palace complex in India. Later in the day, visit Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum or Udaipur Folk Museum. Later in the evening visit Fateh Sagar Lake and enjoy boating around in the Lake. Return back to the hotel in the night, savor the dinner and enjoy your stay overnight.

Day 15: Udaipur - Delhi

The morning is free to relax and rest. Alternatively, you can choose to visit the local markets for some last minute shopping. In the afternoon, drive to the airport to board flight for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, meet our representative and drive to the international airport to board flight back home.
