Massive and widespread Tiger Reserves one of which is Ranthambore National Park is home to rich flora and fauna. With some exotic locations inside the Reserve and rare species of fauna with Tigers being the major attraction, Ranthambore is a splendid Tiger Reserve in India.
In the entire Indian subcontinent, Ranthmbore Tiger Reserve is one of the major wilderness attraction for many National and International photographers. Spread across 392 sq km, Ranthambore had been a large hunting ground for the kings during Rajputana era. The nearby sanctuaries like the Man Singh Sanctuary and the Kaila Devi Sanctuary are even more fun to travel to. During medieval period, kings used to go for duck hunting in these birds sanctuary, which has more than 300 species of nested and migratory birds.
For exploring the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve from inside, opt for jungle safaris on jeep or on elephants and get a firsthand experience of this magnificent reserve. If you are lucky enough, you may get to see the majestic predators in its natural habitat. Spot some tigers and get the experience of a lifetime.
Day 1: Delhi
Following your arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet you while greeting you nicely and thereafter you will be transferred to the hotel where you stay for the night. Next, you will explore Delhi and its main areas. The Delhi sightseeing tour will begin by seeking blessings from revered Laxmi Narayan Temple. After paying homage at Temple, advance to India Gate, then to Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Jama Masjid, India’s largest Mosque, Qutub Minar, Purana Quila, Humyun’s Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Visit Red Fort, a historical monument where you can witness vibrant Sound and Light show.
Day 2: Delhi - Sariska
On day 2, leave for Sariska by road from Delhi. Upon arrival check in to one of the forest resorts, relax for a while, savor your lunch and go out to explore the Sariska National Park, the former hunting reserve of the Maharaja of Alwar. Take a walk around the dense forests, enjoythe cool breeze here, spend the evening at leisure and return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Sariska - Jaipur
Day 3 is going to be one thrilling day for you as today you are going for a jungle safari. Wake up early in the morning, opt for jeep or elephant safara into the woods and experience the nature from up close. Thrilled and excited you will leave for the pink city, Jaipur. Upon arrival check into a nice luxurious otel already booked for you followed by a leisurely tour of the city. Spend evening in the Jaipur’s famous markets and food joint to savor the spicy and tangy food of Rajasthan. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 4: Jaipur
Explore the pink city and get ready get amazed at every step. Visit strikingly massive and beautiful Amber Fort and Hawa Mahal. Enjoy the elephant ride at Amber Fort and be astonished by the perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture in the palace fortress. Hawa Mahal is a striking five-storied pyramid-shaped palace with several windows and screens. Also visit the unique Royal Jantar Mantar Observatory, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and the Local Bazaar. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight
Day 5: Jaipur – Sawai Madhopur ( Ranthambore National Park)
Ranthambore is almost 150 km far from Jaipur on road and so you will drive towards Ranthambore on day 5. Upon arrival, check in to the pre book resort or hotel near the park. In the evening, enjoy the walk around the park and get to hear the stories from the locals. Return back to the hotel and enjoy overnight in the hotel.
Day 6 and 7: Ranthambore National Park
This morning, get ready to embark upon the early morning safari of the affluent National Park. Witness the towering trees shadowing the rough roads of the Park. Early morning cool breeze will wide awake you on the safari. Later return back to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit the famous Ranthambore Fort and other surrounding places. If you wish you can even opt for an evening safari as well. Later return back to hotel and relax.
Day 8: Ranthambore National Park – Bharatpur
On day 8, leave for Bharatpur by road. Bharatpur is famous for its Bird Sanctuary. Drive towards Bharatpur and upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax for a while. Later, take a cycle ride to go on bird watching in Koladeo National Park, popular as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Having served as the hunting grounds of erstwhile Maharajas of Bharatpur, the sanctuary is today a home to more than 400 species of avifauna. Stay overnight at the hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 9: Bharatpur – Agra
On day 8, drive towards take a road trip to Agra. On your way to Agra, halt at Fatehpur Sikri, the heritage town on the way. Visit the famous places here including Jama Masjid , Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. Resume your drive after lunch and reach Agra by evening. Check- in at the hotel and enjoy rest of the day exploring the local markets and shopping for souvenirs. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 10: Agra – Delhi
So the tour is over and this day you will drive back to Delhi where you will be dropped to your preferred transportation location.
Day 11: Delhi
Today after breakfast take the sightseeing covering Qutab Minar, Humanyun Tomb, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, transferred to the Delhi airport to board flight for onward journey.
