Famous for Pushkar Lake, various ghat and temples, Pushkar is a holy town in the state of Rajasthan. ‘Pushkar’ means lotus flower and in hindu religion Lotus was said to be Hindu God Brahma’s seat. Therefore the town of Pushkar is famous for housing the only Brahma temple in the world. This is also considered as Adi Teerth or Teertharaj meaning ancient holy place or the most important of holy places respectively.

However, Pushkar has gained much attention and tourist flow for its famous Pushkar Cmael Fair that takes place in the month of November. It is a long fair and runs for up to 14 days and visited by approximately 400,000 people every year. Over 11,000 camels, horses and cattle are featured in this humungous fair. Being a famous pilgrimage site for Hindus, the fair is attended more enthusiastically while taking part in each program with zeal and vigor. Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi Arrival

As you land at Delhi Airport or at Delhi Railway Station, our representative will be there already to escort you. We make sure to offer the best services by providing you our best person for your journey. You will be driven to the hotel pre-booked for you where you will check in and stay overnight.

Day 2: Delhi

On day 2 of 7 days Golden Triangle Tour, you will explore Delhi and its main areas. The Delhi sightseeing tour will begin by seeking blessings from revered Laxmi Narayan Temple. After paying homage at Temple, advance to India Gate, then to Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Jama Masjid, India’s largest Mosque, Qutub Minar, Purana Quila, Humyun’s Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Visit Red Fort, a historical monument where you can witness vibrant Sound and Light show.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

On day 3 you will proceed for Agra, the historically evident city of India. After a filling breakfast, proceed for Agra which is just 3 to 4 hour drive from Delhi through Delhi-Agra express highway. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and stay overnight. If time permits, stroll around the hotel markets and explore the city yourself.

Day- 4: Agra

This day is going to be an exciting day as you are going to witness the wonder of the World Taj Mahal. Wake up and get ready to explore the city by visiting the most attractive and incredible monument- Taj Mahal. Made in white marble, it is a scintillating monument and no wonder Taj Mahal is one of the world’s seven wonders. Enjoy the visit to the marvel and take a tour inside the monument and get inspired by the unparallel beauty of the monument. Later in the day, proceed to Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb whose design elephants even outshines the Taj. The market around the Taj is inundated with marble souvenirs and offers a lot of exclusive specialties to shop.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur

On day 5, drive towards Jaipur while halting at Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Visit Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. After a short tour continue driving towards the pink city on India. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, visit City Palace flanked by courtyards, lush gardens and monuments, the unique Royal Jantar Mantar Observatory, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and the Local Bazaar. Return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Jaipur- Pushkar

On day 3, leave for Pushkar, a famous town in Rajasthan that hosts big Camel Fair in the world. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and freshen up to leave for city tour. Visit Pushkar and take a dip into the Pushkar Lake and enjoy the beauty of Rose Garden. Enjoy evening in leisure activities and stay overnight for the hotel.

Day 7: Pushkar

On day 7, move out of your room all thrilled to explore the famous city of Pushkar. Visit attractions like Pushkar Lake, Aptaeshwar temple, Varaha temple and the Brahma temple. Later, get ready to join the festival taking place at Pushkar Fair Ground. Camel trading is one of the distinguished features of Pushkar fair. In fact all sorts of cattle trading takes place in this fair. The major highlights of this festival include Animal Decoration and race competitions, Cow Milking competition, Indian Bride competition and Turban Tying and Tilak competitions. After experiencing this rare festival, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Pushkar – Ajmer

On last day of your tour, leave for Ajmer. Upon arrival, take a short local tour of the city and get transferred to Ajmer railway station to board a train to Delhi. On reaching Delhi get transfer to the Delhi airport to board a flight for onward journey.
