The honeymooner’s paradise, Mussoorie is small town with fewer crowds, less noise, less traffic but more life. The town has everything romantic to it, from high mountain ranges, to deep waterfalls, to large Lakes to serene walks. There’s nothing that you can miss here in this beautiful town. One of the favorite hill stations of British era, the town has rich history and culture. The town is considered elite due to presence of headquarters of some of the important people in the history like Vijaylaxmi Pandit, sister of Motilal Nehru (father of Jawahar Lal Nehru).
Well, from the point of view of tourism, it is quite significant to witness the tourists flocking here from southern Indian regions. Every year hundreds of tourists from around the country visit the town. Most of the imperial era buildings are converted into Christian missionary schools which are considered as some of the best elite schools in the country. Apart from being the oxford of India, the town has lot to offer in terms of scenic splendors and marvels.
Romantic sunsets can be witnessed from Lal Tibba, highest point in the town at an elevation of 7500 feet above from sea level. Take a dip in to the deep waterfalls and enjoy the scenic views that Lake has to offer. A romantic walk in the evening on Camel’s road is all you need to spend some quality time with to better half. Day 1: Delhi – Mussoorie
As you land in Delhi, our cordial representative will be there to escort you to the beautiful town of Mussoorie. Enjoy the scenic pleasures that you witness on the way and as you reach in the town. Upon arrival check into the hotel and rest for while. Explore the town near the hotel, indulge in leisure activities in the evening and spend the night in the hotel.
Day 2: Mussoorie- Local Sightseeing
In the morning as you wake up amidst the land of hills surrounded by dense coniferous forests, you would feel fresh and loved. Go ahead and embark on sightseeing around the around the town. A few places to visit include the Camel’s Road, a camel hump shaped road where you can go for nature walks. Visit Kemty fall and take a dip into the cold waters of the fall, visit Gun Hill that offers the best view of the town from above. Visit Lal Tibba, the highest peak in the town and Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries. Enjoy the day exploring the whole town and return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Mussoorie
On day 3, you and visit places that were left on the previous day. Spend the day in leisure strolling around the famous Mall Road, shop and splurge. Enjoy the pleasant weather in the evening and enjoy the sunset view. Fancy cafes, local shops, local handicrafts etc could be seen on the town. In a cool breezy weather, sip on the hot coffee and enjoy the day. However, if you want, you can also partake in adventure activities such as Zip swing, Zip lining, Valley crossing, Rappelling, Rock Climbing and so on. In the evening, enjoy the facilities at the hotel.
Day 4: Mussoorie - Delhi
Check out of the hotel today and leave for Delhi. Today you will be cordially dropped to at Delhi Airport to board your flight further back home.
