Day 1: Visit of Darjeeling
When you will reach to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra airport then our tourist guide will pick you from there and he will help you in exploring your journey of Darjeeling. Many foreign tourists come to visit this charming hill station. The alluring sight of Darjeeling and Rambling tea gardens beside the elegant Himalayas are really appealing. This is the best sight for capturing these exotic moments in the camera.
In the way of Darjeeling you will find many mesmerizing view of this place. We booked a hotel for you and you can take some rest. In the meanwhile you can go for the outing in the market and also in the mall for shopping.
Day 2: Exploring Darjeeling
The next day our tourist guide will take you to the amazing Tiger Hill which is 11km ahead from the Darjeeling. This place gives more smash view in the early morning. So, if you want be a part of it then you have to reach at Tiger hill in the early morning. As the day starts the view of the morning looks really stunning when the sunrays falls on the peak of the mighty Kanchenjunga it changes its color into golden because of the reflection of the sun. You should not miss this doozy view of this place.
When you start climbing this hill then you will see beautiful Batasia Loop and Ghoom monastery which is the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. So from the religious point of view also this place has its own aesthetic beauty. There is a cosmic Buddhist statue which is really beautiful. You will find different people over there from the Buddhist religion. After this the tourist guide will drop you in the hotel and you can take the breakfast. This place is a peaceful city where you will find peace and harmony among the people.
Then after that he will take you to the other destinations like Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Lebong race course, Peace Pagoda, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tensing-Gumbo rock, ropeway and Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological Park, where you can see the rare Tibetan wolf and Snow leopard. After this you can enjoy the beauty of lush green tea.
Day 3: Gangtok Drive
On the third day you will start your journey for visiting Gangtok which is one of the prominent hill stations of this area. This place is blessed with beautiful mountain ranges and colorful monasteries. This place is amalgamation of natural beauty and religion. When you reach the Gangtok you can visit the nearby places and after that you can take some rest in the hotel.
Day 4: Gangtok Visit
The next day our tour guy will take you to visit the Enchey and Rumtek monastery which are the famous spiritual places of this area. The way to these monasteries is around 3 km from Gangtok. This renowned monastery was constructed before 200 years back but today this has become an important spiritual place of Buddhism. Rumtek monastery is the relics of the 16th Karmapa. Then our tourist guy will take you to the Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Chorten and Orchid sanctuary. In the evening you can return to the hotel.
Day 5: Journey from Gangtok
On the 5th day our tourist guy will take you to the Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. From 38 km ahead the Gangtok, a glacial lake Tsomgo is there. By passing the Gangtok-Nathula highway and lush green mountain ranges, you will reach to the charming Sikkimese Lake. The tranquil view of this place makes it more delightful place.
There is also a temple of Lord Shiva over there. After this you will visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. This temple is made in the remembrance of an Army martyr, Major Harbhajan Singh. The martyar was not only an army officer but he was also a saint. This shrine is located at the elevation of the 400 mtrs. The Army believes that his soul still resides at this place and protects the Army.
After this our tourist guy will take you back and you can refresh yourself and in the evening you can visit to MG road mall in the vicinity. These all places are really mesmerizing and you will never forget this in your whole life.
Day 6: Come Back
After taking morning breakfast you will get ready with your luggage and by taking all the sweet memories of this stunning place you will check out from the hotel. From there you will reach to the New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport and you will go back to your home with all delighted moments of the excursion of the Gangtok.
