Day 1: Gangtok Arrival
You will come to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and then / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand then our tour representative will receive you and will assist you further. He will take you to the Gangtok which will take around 4.5 to 5 hour to reach there.
Gangtok is an appealing city of the Sikkim and also the capital of it. It is situated at the elevation of the 1670 meter. The city is blessed with the thriving beauty which has enchanting power. The beguiling beauty of the Gangtok is really difficult to express in words. Enthralling Mountains covered with snow, variety of Rhododendron and winsome orchids make this place picturesque. Besides having alluring beauty it also has rich historical culture which is represented by the divine Buddhist monasteries which glorify the importance of this place.
After reaching the Gangtok you can check in the hotel and then in the leisure time you can visit to mall road and in the market you will also find beautiful handmade craft which is the specialty of this place.
Day 2: Visit to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
The next day after taking the breakfast our tour guide will take you for the beautiful excursion of the Tsomgo Lake 40 kilometers ahead from the Gangtok. It is a glacial lake which remains covered with snow throughout the year. Here you will find different species of birds over there. Don’t forget to visit the Shiva Mandir beside this Lake.
Baba Mandir will be the next destination of yours. The temple was constructed in the memory of Baba Harbhajan Singh. He was a brave soldier who sacrificed his life in the war. You can also visit the Nathu La Pass.
Day 3: Lachen Drive
On the third day you start your journey towards Lachen which is about 135 kilometers ahead. You can take some rest at Chungthang and have lunch over there. Lachen is a beautiful city of North Sikkim. The blissful scenic beauty of snow capped mountains is really breathtaking.
Shingbha wild life sanctuary, Chopta Valley and Thangu are the prominent places. In the evening you will reach Lachen and you can check in the hotel there. After getting freshen up you can visit to Lepcha Village.
Day 4: Journey to Gurudongmar Lake
With the cheerful mood your next day journey will start for visiting to Gurudongmar Lake which is 55 kilometers ahead. With the shiny sun rays your journey will start and charming vies of the sights will delight your mood.
The Gurudongmar Lake lies at the elevation of 11, 800 feet in a beautiful valley. The water of this lake remains frozen in December to April. The appealing frozen water looks very beautiful. The Sarv Dharm Sthan an important religious place of this area. You can catch the spectacular view of the frozen water in your camera.
After this you can go back to your hotel for the lunch and in the way you will eyewitness the thrilling view of the cold desert region of Tibet/ China and amazing Rhododendron forest of Chopta Valley and Thangu. After this our journey will start for the drive of Lachung town which lies in the north of the Sikkim. It is the entrance of the Yumthang.
The forests of Rhododendron and exotic valleys embraced with fog are really mesmerizing and this spectacular view is really eye catchy. The calm ambiance of this place is the best thing after this our representative will take you to the famous Monastery Lachung which is considered as the most sacred place of this area.
Day 5: Be a Part of Yumthang
On the 5th day of the journey our tourist guy will take you to the drive of Yumthang which is about 11,800 feet away from there. While crossing you will be a part of the prominent hot spring which is known for its healing power for the skin diseases. This is a beautiful valley which is completely environs with the beautiful white sizzling White Mountains.
The empyreal beauty of the place is pleasing and fascinates the people more towards it appealing beauty. The valley looks beguiling when the beautiful flowers like Rhododendrons, Alpine, Primulae and other beautiful flowers blossom and beautiful butterflies makes the surrounding more elegant. At that time the view of the valley becomes breathtaking.
After visiting this paradise you can go back to your hotel and have lunch there and after that you can pack your luggage for going back to Gangtok. In the evening you will reach to the Hotel of Gangtok and then you can take rest.
Day 6: Departure to home
On the last day of the journey after taking the breakfast, you can check out from the hotel along with your luggage and our tour representative will drop you at the station. You will follow the route of Siliguri to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station then Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and then Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand. By taking this sizzling north eastern tour of Sikkim in your heart along with cherishing memories you can return back to the home.
