Description

It won’t be wrong to call this tour incredible as a trip to the destination so pristine, flawless and thrilling is incredibly enthralling. Ladakh is situated at an elevation of 3,000 meters above mean sea level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The broad valleys of this region look magical and unreal when visited. You cannot distinguish the ground and the sky for land is wide spread till where the eyes go. It all looks poetic and surreal. If you want to get lost in the musical vibes of immaculate environs, come here to the Leh Valley and experience the bliss of nature without getting bothered by the materials of life.

Apart being so unrealistically divine and powerful, the place houses a number of tourist attraction that invites a huge influx of visitors every year. Hemis, Thiksey, Shey, Likir, Alchi and Spituk are some of the most popular monasteries in Leh and are a must see. Besides, the whimsical rivers Indus and Zanskar make the Valley even more sturdy and beautiful. Another major Monastery in Ladakh is Phuktal Gompa in the Lungnak Valley which can be reached by trekking.

The culture and customs of Ladakh are somewhat close to the traditions of Tibetan and these monasteries are closely related to the Ladakhi custom. Besides, the people in Ladakh are extremely buoyant and happy and this can be witnessed through their way of celebrating festivals all year round which are closely related to the Monasteries of Ladakh. The reasons of festivities may vary from harvest season to sowing season to commencement of new-year or commemorating Lord Buddha or the oracles but celebrations are always cheerful and energetic. Well, it could be anything the people of Ladakh are happy people and full of life.
