Mysore also known as ‘The City of Palaces,’ is one of the most exotic hill stations of India. Replete with evident history of royalty, architecture, silk sarees, yoga and sandalwood, Mysore is rich in al splendours. Located in the foothills of the Chamundi Hills, Mysore is the third most populated city in the state of Karnataka, and its rich cultural heritage draws millions of tourists all year round. During the erstwhile British Empire, Mysore was a part of one of three Princely States. Therefore, Mysore Palace is one of the most famous palaces in the country.
Wayanad on the other hand is a rural village in Kerala famous for the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude. It houses rich fauna including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards and egrets. In the Ambukuthi Hills to the south, Edakkal Caves contain ancient petroglyphs, some dating back to the Neolithic age.
Day 1: Bangalore - Coorg:
As you land in Bangalore, our cordial representative will escort you to coorg in a cab. Upon arrival in Coorg, check in to the hotel and unwind from the tiring journey. Spend your day admiring the hills and natural scenes of hill station with a sip of tea and enjoy your stay in the hotel.
Day 2: Coorg:
On day 2 set out to explore the town of Coorg. On your excursion you will be visiting the coffee plantations, and the orchards; there is a Fort on top of a hill that overlooks the town. There is a temple of Lord Omkareswara, the design in the temple is appealing. Later in the evening you return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Coorg - Mysore:
On day 3, begin your drive towards Mysore by car. Upon arrival in Mysore, the town of royal and elite, check into a hotel or a resort and unwind for some while. Later in the day, visit the famous Mysore Palace. The palace is magnificent and praise worthy, later go on to visit the temple on the Chamundi Hill. You return to the Hotel after that for a Goodnight stay.
Day 4: Mysore - Wayanad:
On day 4, drive towards Wayand, a beautiful rural village in Kerala. Upon arrival in wayanad, check into a home stay or a hotel and spend rest of the day in leisure while enjoying the splendid views of the town. Stay overnight in the hotel while enjoying the hospitality of the hotel and the village.
Day 5: Wayanad:
On day 5 set out on a full day excursion and visit the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy the rich flora and fauna of the wildlife sanctuary. Later, visit the Glass house at Kottamuda, Chembra Peak, Edakkal Caves, Banasurasagar Dam, Pazhassi tomb and more. Later, you return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure:
On the last day of your hill station tour, you will be driven into Calicut Airport or Railway station so that you can board a flight or train for your further journey to home.
