Day 1: Trivandrum - Kovalam
As you land in Thiruvananthapuram Airport, our cordial representative will transfer you to Kovalam by road. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check into the hotel or a beach resort for experiencing better hospitality. Spend the day at leisure at the most happening Beach in the region and enjoy. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Kovalam
On day 2, enjoy your stay at Kovalam Beach and enjoy your Ayurvedic sessions while rejuvenating yourself. Spend the day at leisure and visit the popular beaches of Kovalam such as Lighthouse, Samudra and Hawa beach along with the other attractions. Also explore the Napier Museum and Zoo. Return to the hotel and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 3: Kovalam - Kollam
On day 3 of experiencing Kerala, leave for Kolam, a ‘Gateway to Kerala Backwaters’. On reaching Kollam, check into the scenic backwater resort, known as Ashtamudi Lake. Later in the day, enjoy your boating on the backwaters and visit the local markets of kollam.
Day 4: Kolam-Alleppey
On day 4 of your tour, leave for Alleppey early morning by road. Upon arrival in Alleppey, the paradise of backwaters, board a houseboat for rest of the day. Enjoy the picturesque hamlets to reach Kumarakom. Enjoy a short visit at the small town of Kumarakom. Stay overnight in houseboat and enjoy the stargazing in the night and the winds blowing over your head.
Day 5: Alleppey- Periyar
On day 5, leave for Periyar from Alleppey by road. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel or resort and unwind for a while. In the evening, go for a jungle safari in Periyar National Park where you witness the bird watching and grasslands and water streams inside the park.
Day 6: Periyar
On day 6 you will be out to take pleasure in bird watching and boating at the Periyar Lake. You would be able to spot several colorful species of resident as well as migratory birds here. Return to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Periyar -Cochin
On day 7, get transferred to Cochin by our representative. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel or resort there. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise and explore the nearby islands. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance at an exclusive venue. Stay overnight in Cochin.
Day 8: Departure
In the morning of 8th day begin your local sightseeing tour in Cochin. Visit Synagogue in the Jew town, Mattancherry Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese fishing nets, Ernakulam Shiva temple, St. Francis Church, and others. You get to see an influence of Portuguese architect in the city and the Marine Drive in Cochin offers a beautiful walkway while enjoying the sunset on the beach. Post lunch, leave by road for airport and board the flight back home.
