Day 1: Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi, you will soon be greeted by our representative and will be taken to the hotel pre booked for you. Check into the hotel, freshen up and get going. It’s time to explore the city to the core. The city that shouts out the culture and tradition of India is one to visit to experience the Indian culture and India’s progress. Visit Red Fort, the massive monument built by Shah Jahan with red limestone and stands tall and prevalent in modern Delhi. Next visit Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, largest mosque in India, next visit India Gate and later to Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House). Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi – Agra
In the morning of day 2, hit the road to begin your journey towards Agra. Enroute to Agra, you can halt to see Sikandar, the mausoleum of the Great Mughal Ruler Akbar. Later, continue your drive towards Agra and upon arrival check into the hotel. Later in the day, move out of the hotel to witness the wonder of the world-Taj Mahal, the monument built in commemoration of Mumtaz Mahal, beloved wife of Mughal Ruler Shah Jahan. Next, visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula’s tomb and admire the beauty and architecture of both majestic monuments. Spend evening indulging in leisure activities and shopping around the local markets.
Day 3: Agra-Jaipur
On day 3 of your short trip, start driving towards Jaipur, pink city of India. The first planned city of the country, Jaipur is painted pink to contrast the entire city and it looks all pink and pretty if viewed from the top. Enroute Jaipur, visit Fatehpur Sikri to explore huge Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza- the largest gateway in the world, the historical Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal Bhavan, Panch Mahal etc. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in to the hotel and unwind for a while and gather to energies to explore the city later on. Visit the huge halls, massive courtyards and verdant gardes of the famous city palace. Also visit the world heritage site Jantar Mantar Observatory and the splendid Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli. Indulge in some leisure activities in the evening and enjoy your stay in the hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur – Delhi Departure
In the morning after freshening up, get ready to witness the great Amer Fort in the city. The Fort is UNESCO’s world heritage site and is a splendid huge Fort built with red sandstone and marble. A blend of tradition and architectural marvel, the Fort is one major tourist attraction in the city that allures. Also visit Hawa Mahal, the amazing architectural structure on the edge of City Palace. Explore the local city markets to buy some local specialties of the city like fabric and textile.
Post that, you would be driven back to Delhi and further transferred to airport/railway station for the onward journey back home.
