The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are located in the east of India, in the Bay Of Bengal. There are 572 islands of which 28 are inhabited by people are so captivating and enthralling that tourists from all over the world throng to witness the stunning beauty of the islands . These islands also have historical and significant places like Cellular Jail, Viper Island, Ross Island, Hopetown, and Mount Harriet.
The Islands are home to sentinelese people who are considered to have not reached further Paleolithic level of technology. The islands are covered with tropical rainforests and have some of the most spellbinding locations in the world.
Day 1: Port Blair – Visit to Cellular jail and Water Sports Complex
After your arrival at the Port Blair‘ s Veer Savarkar airport , our representative would escort you to the hotel. After taking rest at the hotel you can have a fun time at Water sports complex (closed on Wednesday). You can also enjoy water sports at Aqua fun park which is a safe sea shore where you can enjoy adventurous water sports like jet ski, speed boat ride, glass bottom boat ride, banana boat ride, etc. However If you are not interested in water sports then you can lay back and relax by seaside at Ocean Blue Café .
In the evening, one cannot afford to miss the fascinating and famous sound and light show at Cellular Jail. . It is the show which creates the magic of sound and light to narrate the saga of freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the Indian Independence . It is shown in the premises of Cellular Jail. After this you can come back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Journey To Havelock by ferry from Port Blair and Radhanagar Beach at Havelock
The next day we take a journey of 2.5 hours and only 54 kilometers away to one of the topmost attractions which is Havelock Island. This is the largest of all the Islands in Andaman. The tourists from all over the world come to see the splendid and exotic views of the beaches covered by Palm trees and coral Reefs, azure blue water and magnificent resorts on this Island.
In the evening, you can visit Radhanagar Beach which has been rated as the Asia’s Best beach by Time Magazine. The white sand beach and the peaceful environment is unfathomable and uncomparable. The tourists throng towards this Island because the atmosphere and seashore is so conducive for scuba diving, game Fishing, swimming and snorkelling.
Then again we can go back to our hotel for relaxing and getting ready for another trip on the following day.
Day 3: A Memorable trip to Elephant Beach
On this day, you would go for a memorable excursion to the Elephant beach via boat from Havelock Island. The boat ride takes almost 23 minutes to reach the Beach. To make it a memorable trip one can get into snorkelling gear and also do scuba diving. This would give you a lifetime opportunity to experience the underwater world and also the amazing larger Reef formed by variety of Corals And Marine Life . It is considered to be an ideal place for tourists for snorkelling and Scuba diving and other water based activities. The huge shoreline covered with white sand beach is worth capturing in your camera.
Day 4: Ferry Trip from Havelock to Neil Island
Post Breakfast, you can visit Neil Island and the most important place to visit here is Neil Kendra which is a beautiful curving bay brimming with white sand and colourful wooden boats on the shore Neil Kendra is considered to be the heart of the island because on its left there is Bharatpur Beach and on its right Laxmanpur Beach. It is considered to be one of the richest collection of marine lives and coral reefs because of which it is said to be the most thrilling scuba diving sites on the Island.Bharatpur Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach where one can enjoy the coral views and can leisurely walk on the sands . The jetty are is full of corals and fishes and one can experience a spectacular view of the beach.Laxmanpur Beach is a alienated beach covered with white shell sand having shallow water which offers a lot of opportunities to the tourists for snorkelling .Tourists enjoy swimming and sun bathing on the beach and it also offers unforgettable beautiful sunset views.
Day 5: Return trip from Neil Island to Port Blair
After Breakfast, you can take a ferry back to Port Blair and can explore the surroundings on your own. The whole day is at your disposal and you can relax and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 6: Port Blair – City Tour and Corbyn’s Cove Beach
You can start the day with delicious breakfast and can explore the city’s famous. Forest museum which is worth visiting to and next in the visit list should be Fisheries museum whereas you can explore 350 kinds of marine species such as corals, fishes and starfish etc.
There is a Naval Museum also known as Samudrika Museum run and owned by Indian Navy where one can witness the history, geography, culture and traditions of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
After lunch you must visit Corbyn’s Cove beach which is only 8 kilometers away from the City. The beach is a visual treat because of its pristine blue water in the sea and tourists come here to enjoy the beautiful and captivating sceneries.
Day 7: Departure
You can take a return flight for your onward journey with unforgettable and fond memories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
