Day 1:- Transfer From Manali to Kaza
Leave early in the morning from Manali to reach Kaza which is at the distance of 200 km from here. At a massive altitude of 12000 feet, Kaza is a spellbinding town in Spiti region which will be the first stop over on this adventurous journey. On the way, you will cross Rohtan Pass and Kunzum La pass which are at an altitude of 12000 feet and 15000 feet respectively. The road is narrow and adventurous and offers some stunning mountain views. Upon arrival at Kaza, enjoy your stay at the hotel and get acquainted with the massive altitude to feel comfortable for your further journey.
Day 2:- Sightseeing around Kaza
Now that you have acquainted yourself with the air and height of the valley, it’s time to explore it. Explore the exquisite local market of kaza that has a lot to offer in terms of handlooms, dry fruits, woolens etc. Visit the main Kye Monastery in the region and get to know its relevance and history. If we enough time left in the day, Kibber village can be visited for serene walks and mind blowing views. Stop here for a lunch offered in local food joints and restaurants and enjoy the traditional dishes of the town.Return to Kaza in the evening to spend your night at the hotel.
Day 3:- Kaza Local sightseeing
Today visit Hikkim, the highest village in the region where you can witness the highest post office in the world. Also visit the Langza village where you can explore the old fossils of the region and get to know the place geographically. Also visit the nearby Komic Village and explore the localities while interacting with the locals. Return back to Kaza for an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4:- Kaza - Pin Valley – Kaza
Today’s going to be the day to remember as we take you to beautiful Pin Valley which is a home to a number of Buddhist monasteries. Also Pin Valley is the only cold desert National Park located in Himachal Pradesh. The park lies in the valley of the Pin River and extremely scenic and green. Exotic flora and fauna of the National Park will certainly arouse your love for the wild. Gratifying your wits and calming down your curiosity, it’s time to drive back to hotel for an overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 5:- Kaza to Tabo
Tabo Monastery is more than thousand year old monastery and is a home of ancient scriptures and ancient statues. A 3 hour drive away from Kaza, Tabo monastery is an exquisite place of religious and traditional values. En route we will visit the Dhankar village and Dhankar monastery and fort. After a delightful lunch, we will return back to Kaza for an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 6:- Kaza to Chandertal Lake
It will be difficult to forget this day of your adventurous trip. Today, you will head to nature’s marvel Chandrataal Lake. At a massive altitude of 4,300 metres, the crescent shaped Lake in the lap of the nature will definitely leave you awe struck with its beauty and charm. Witness the moon that glows right above the Lake in the night while you camp alongside the Lake.
Day 7:- Chandertal to Manali
It’s time to bid adieu to the nature’s marvel and proceed further to Manali. We shall leave quite early in the morning to avoid unreasonable traffic and chaos on the way. We return back to Manali on the same route from where we reached Lahaul and Spiti. Upon arrival in Manali in the evening, spend the night at the hotel. In the morning or on the same night you will be transferred to nearby Airport or Railways station for your further journey that takes you back home.
