Thiruvananthapuram is the largest city and the capital of Kerala, also known as Trivandram and serves as a hub for tourists from around the globe. The city is built on seven hills by the sea shore and located on the west coast and is bounded by Laccadive Sea and Western Ghats. The city is a home to Karamana and Killi rivers along with being a major hub for Vellayani, Thiruvallam and Aakulam backwaters. Day 1: Cochin /Alleppey
Upon arrival in Kochi, you will be driving towards Alleppey, the famous backwaters destination of Kerala. Upon arrival at Alleppey, check in to the pre-book hotel for you and after completing the check in formalities; embark on the local sightseeing tour of Alleppey. Board a houseboat on the backwaters that cruise through the SNDP thodu, Kuppapuram, and Vembanad Kayal. Later, halt at Kainakary to partake in canoeing for an hour.
Savor the sumptuous dinner on-board the houseboat. Stay overnight in the houseboat and enjoy your time viewing the stars in the night, people around and feel the cool breeze that touches your skin.
Day 2: Alleppey - Quilon (2 hrs)
On day 2 of your Trivandrum tour, you will be driving towards Quilon or Kollam. Upon arrival at Kollam, check in to the hotel and rest for some while. Later, visit the major tourist attractions like Thevally Palace, Alumkadavu Boat Building Yard, Palaruvi Falls, Thangassery Beach etc. Stroll around the local markets of the town and return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Quilon- Kovalam (1 hrs)
On day 3 of your tour, drive towards Kovalam. Upon arrival at Kovalam, check in to the hotel and rest for a while. Embark on local tour of Kovalam during the day. The major attractions to visit the town include the popular beaches of Kovalam such as Lighthouse, Samudra and Hawa beach along with the other attractions. Return to the hotel and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 4: Kovalam- Kanyakumari- Kovalam (3 hrs)
On day 4 of your tour, you will be driving towards Kanyakumari on local sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari. Visit the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial and other famous temples. In the evening return to Kovalam for an overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 5: Kovalam-Trivandrum (16 km)
On the last day of your tour, you will be leaving for Trivandrum. At Trivandrum visit, prime tourist attractions such as the City Museum, Shri Chitra Art Gallery and Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
Later in the day, get an assisted transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
