Day 1: Arrival Cochin
As you land in Kochi or Cochin Airport, our representative will help you to get to the hotel where you will check in and unwind. Later in the day, begin your local sightseeing tour in Cochin. Visit Synagogue in the Jew town, Mattancherry Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese fishing nets, Ernakulam Shiva temple, St. Francis Church, and others. You get to see an influence of Portuguese architect in the city and the Marine Drive in Cochin offers a beautiful walkway while enjoying the sunset on the beach. Return to hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Cochin/Alleppey
On day 2 of your Kerala tour, you will be driving towards Alleppey, the famous backwaters destination of Kerala. Upon arrival, check in to the Houseboat; embark on the local sightseeing tour of Alleppey. Board a houseboat on the backwaters that cruise through the SNDP thodu, Kuppapuram, and Vembanad Kayal. Later, halt at Kainakary to partake in canoeing for an hour.
Savor the sumptuous dinner on-board the houseboat. The houseboat will be anchored at Mangalam and enjoy your time viewing the stars in the night, people around and feel the cool breeze that touches your skin.
Day 3: Houseboat
As you wake up to the spectacular views of Backwaters, the boat resumes the journey ahead to the next destination- Nedumudy. On your way to Nudemudy visit Lissio Church. Next you stop to visit the Kavalam, Veliyanadu village walk, Kidangara, Mathikayal, Chundan Vallam visit. At Kainakary, get the opportunity for canoeing and experience the best of this water activity.
Enjoy a restful stay at the houseboat. The houseboat is anchored for night at Nedumudy.
Day 4: Houseboat
On day 4, you will be leaving for your next destination-Thakazhi. In the morning, as you wake up to the mesmerizing views and a splendid sunrise, your journey will begin at 10 am. On the way you will be visiting Mancomlu and Pullincunnu where you are scheduled to visit the Banana Plantation. Explore the Pullincunnu church, Kottaram temple, and St. Mary’s Church. The local market at Champakulam is worth exploring. The prized Champakulam Chundan is the winner of several boat races. The Pullangadi, Pindithodu, Vegetable Plantation are also worthwhile to visit. The houseboat is anchored for the night at Thakazhi.
Day 5: Houseboat/Cochin departure
On day 5th of your Houseboat tour, your cruise will take an early start to move towards Pallathuruthy via Kanjipadam. You will reach the jetty dock by 9.00 AM. From here you be driven towards Cochin where you will be dropped at the Airport or railway station in order to board a flight or train for your overhead journey.
